Description
The Ignatian Spiritual Exercises can be exerienced as a 9-month (19th Annotation) or a 10-week prayer experience (18th Annotation). This journey of prayer and reflection is meant to enliven and deepen one’s relationship with God. Scriptures and readings are offered each day as well as introductions to Ignatian forms of prayer. Each week a time of further reflection is offered with a trained Ignatian spiritual director who, as a listening companion, helps to discern the presence, movement, and invitations of God.
Our Relationship
We will meet weekly at a set scheduled time in person, or by video conferencing for a period of 55 minutes. If you need to cancel and/or reschedule, please give 24-hour notice. While it is appropriate at times to discuss psychological and relational difficulties in the context of the weekly meetings, I am not a psychotherapist or counselor, financial advisor, nor do I provide such services. Similarly, you recognize that Ignatian spiritual direction is not counseling, psychotherapy or financial advice and any decisions and actions you may take in that regard are purely your responsibility.
Confidentiality
Our conversations are always confidential; however, for my professional growth I may ask your permission to share pieces of information with my supervisor without revealing your identity. It is customary for Ignatian directors to be under direction and supervision as part of our commitment to improving our practice. Outside of purposes for supervision, I will not reveal the content of our conversations unless I am required to do so by law or court order. On the other hand, you are free to share whatever you choose about our conversations with anyone.
Fees
The 19th Annotation meets one on one, weekly for 9+ months. Fee and invoice will be given by your Ignatian Director.
The 18th Annotation Individual, meets weekly for 10 weeks. Fee and invoice will be given by your Ignatian Director.
The 18th Annotation Group, (3 participants meeting weekly for 10 weeks). Fee is one payment of $270 each.
You will be invoiced by your Sustainable Faith Ignatian Director. Payments may be made online.
