Todd

Todd Long is a spiritual director, church planter, cub scout/boys’ adventure group leader, swim instructor, craftsman, girls’ camp wilderness survival instructor, youth leader, adult rehab mentor, pastor, community activist, non-profit executive & board member, property manager, construction worker, camp operations manager … these are some of the roles that he has filled as he has attempted to say and live a “Yes, Lord” response to God’s invitations. The roles of son-brother-husband-father-grandfather-contemplative … maybe closer to his interior nature.

Todd draws inspiration from Ignatius of Loyola who prayed, “Take, lord, and receive … all that I have and call my own. you have given all to me. to you, Lord, I return it. Everything is yours: do with it what you will. Give me only your love and your grace. That is enough for me.“ He offers his life experience and himself, along with his training from Sustainable Faith’s School of Spiritual Direction, to others in spiritual direction as a “co-hearer” with those who are seeking to develop their relationship with God.

He and his wife Cynthia have been married 26 years and have 3 children: Charis Ann (mother of their 2 grandchildren, Colt and Adalyn), Charles Anthony, and Anastasia Faith. They reside in Norwood, Ohio where he is a member of Vineyard Central Church.
