Todd

Todd’s passion is to help others truly experience God’s presence and friendship by developing their own ability to recognize and understand His voice.  “Learning to hear God clearly day by day changed everything for me. Watching that unfold in another is the most satisfying experience imaginable.”

His intention is to say “Yes, Lord,” to divine invitations has led him through a variety of assignments in Christian work. “I think my Spiritual Gift is to do Whatever is Missing.” So, whether the “missing” part in the body has been in Cub Scouts or church planting, outdoor adventure retreats or pastoral care, social justice or church administration, bi-vocational or full-time ministry, the underlying desire has always been the helping of souls.

This interest in “hearing God” and “soul work” led him to complete the Sustainable Faith School of Spiritual Direction in 2010 and offer himself to those seeking spiritual direction. “I think having so many different roles has helped me better understand how God meets people in a variety of circumstances.  Sitting with another as a “co-listener” for the Spirit may be the highest and best use of this gift of experience,” he says.

Todd is also the Operations Manager for YMCA Camp Ernst, in Burlington KY.  He and his wife Cynthia have been married 27 years, have three children, two grandchildren and reside in Norwood Ohio, where he is a member of Vineyard Central Church.
