Steven

Steven Hamilton has been a frequent guest contributor Sustainable Faith’s website. Originally from the midwest, he now lives in Annapolis MA. He and his wife Chaundra, an R.N., have three lovely girls.

In the summer of 2012 Steven and family, along with a small group of companions, will be moving to urban Pittsburgh to start and cultivate a missional community. His calling and concern for biblical justice has lead him into various adventures, including as a leader and advocate with Vineyard-USA’s Justice Response/Vineyard Anti-Slavery Team. He has spent almost 20 years toiling as a public servant in various responsibilities with the U.S. government.  Along the way he actually managed some time as a graduate student in biblical and ancient near eastern civilization at the Baltimore Hebrew University as well as training with Sustainable Faith’s School of Spiritual Direction. His current explorations have been focused in the areas of Wisdom, Spiritual Formation and the nature of the Reign of God.
