Joy

Joy Norman has been walking with the Lord for more than 30 years.  However, her understanding of God for many of those years was more about ‘religion’ than ‘relationship’ resulting in a heart filled with guilt and shame rather than grace and love.  A turning point in Joy’s life occurred when she understood for the first time Zephaniah 3:17 and heard God tell her that He delighted in her and did not rebuke her.  That revelation began a journey of acceptance and healing that has changed everything in her life.  She now considers her highest honor to help others enter the ‘throne room’ of grace and encounter God’s presence in their everyday lives.

Joy is a member of Mariemont Community Church where she was formerly on staff.  She and Mark have been married for more than 30 years and have two grown children, Luke and Hope.   She completed spiritual direction training through Sustainable Faith and enjoys traveling and gardening.
